03 Oct French School Funday
Today the third of October , Kones Tennis Cafe was proud to be apart of the Lycée Français Louis Pasteurs annual sports day.
The French School sport day was fantastic, positive energy from start to finish. As tired as most were, no one wanted it to end, well organised, time bound and excitement everywhere with happy kids full of enthusiasm to participate in every game especially tennis.
It started off at 7am with the school head coach and others pasting all the activities printed at the strategic activities’ points for easy access and for the coordinators to be able to know what group is up next and where they are supposed to go after each activities. Each team had 9 Students, maximum of 10 students.
At 9:30am the first cycle started off with warm up for 15 mins before each group set off to their various activities. Each activity lasted for 15 mins, the activities referee blows his whistle for a change of activities, it was swift and prompt, so no delays and my coaches and I were prepared and ready, we flowed so easy with the kids, like I said earlier positive energy all through, no serious casualties we couldn’t handle.
We had cycle 1 and 2 which all ended at 2:10pm and the out door court was used for tennis.
There was no unnecessary delay except while waiting for the team to arrive and during the break which were duly observed because everyone needed the time out especially the activities’ coordinators who were all worn out by the super excited energetic children.
Competitive tennis games were rewarded with candies for the entire team.
So yes it was more of a fun sport day than any usual sport day as it was tagged.
